HOW IT ALL STARTED

From a Passion for Craftsmanship to Houston's Trusted Pool Builder

Jaime Garcia didn't start Blue Space Custom Pools chasing contracts. He started it because he believed Houston families deserved a pool builder who would treat their backyard the same way he treated his own - with care, pride, and an eye for detail that most companies simply don't have.

What began as a small operation in southwest Houston (77071) grew steadily through word of mouth, repeat customers, and a reputation for doing things right the first time. Project by project, neighborhood by neighborhood, Blue Space earned its place as one of Houston's most trusted names in custom pool construction.

Today, Blue Space builds custom pools, outdoor kitchens, artificial turf installations, concrete flatwork, and pool safety fences across a 60-mile radius of Houston. But even as the company has grown - adding new services, new crew members, and new capabilities like the in-house cement division launched in 2026 - the approach has never changed. Every customer gets the same personal attention. Every project gets the same level of care.

Jaime founded Blue Space with one goal - to build the kind of pools he'd want in his own backyard. With over 15 years in the Houston market, he brings hands-on experience, deep community roots, and a personal commitment to every project Blue Space takes on.

Julian grew up watching Blue Space get built from the ground up - and today he runs the day-to-day operations that keep every project on time and on budget. He's the point of contact customers rely on throughout their build, and the reason our job sites run the way they do.

How Blue Space Has Grown

Blue Space Custom Pools is founded

Jaime Garcia launches Blue Space out of southwest Houston with a focus on custom gunite pool construction and a commitment to personal service.

Expanding across Greater Houston

Word of mouth carries Blue Space into Katy, Cypress, Sugar Land, and The Woodlands. The team grows and the service area expands to a 60-mile radius.

Outdoor kitchens, turf & safety fences added

Blue Space becomes a true full-service outdoor living company - adding outdoor kitchen builds, artificial turf installations, and pool safety fencing to serve customers from start to finish.

The next generation steps in

Julian Garcia joins Blue Space as Project Manager, bringing fresh energy and structure to operations while keeping the family-first culture intact.

In-house cement division launched

Blue Space launches its own concrete and flatwork division - handling all decks, patios, driveways, and hardscaping in-house. Now one team handles everything from pool shell to finished backyard.
